Group Yacht Charter in Croatia: Cruising the Adriatic on M/S Symphony
Discover M/S Symphony, 50-metre cruiser yacht charter for up to 30 guests. Private cabins, a full crew of 12, water sports, and the entire Dalmatian coast at your pace.
Via Croatia·There is a particular kind of freedom that only a private yacht delivers: waking up in a new bay, spending the afternoon on an island nobody else reached that day, and sitting down to dinner on a sun deck with a coastline that stretches in every direction. On the Adriatic, that freedom is already extraordinary. On M/S Symphony, it is elevated into something genuinely exceptional.
Symphony is a 50-metre cruiser yacht available for private charter in Croatia, designed for groups who want the full Dalmatian coast experience without the compromises that come with shared vessels or fixed itineraries. Built in 2021 and refitted in 2023, it is one of the newest purpose-built charter yachts operating on the Croatian coast. It accommodates up to 30 guests across 15 en-suite cabins, with a crew of 12 on board to ensure that the ratio of attention to guests is the kind that makes a charter feel genuinely looked after rather than simply managed.
At 164 feet (50 metres), Symphony sits in a class of yacht that offers something important in Croatia: real stability on open water combined with a shallow enough draft to access the smaller bays and island anchorages that define the best of Dalmatian sailing. Its cruising speed of 9 knots is designed for comfort rather than speed, reflecting the pace at which the Adriatic rewards those who move slowly and stop often. The interiors blend contemporary design with Adriatic-inspired colour palettes: clean lines, natural materials, and the kind of light that comes from generous windows and well-placed skylights. The atmosphere on board is polished but not stiff. This is a yacht designed to be lived in, not just admired.
Symphony's 15 en-suite cabins accommodate up to 30 guests with modern amenities throughout, including air conditioning in every cabin. The cabin layout suits mixed groups, whether that means families with children, multi-generational parties, groups of couples, or a combination of all three. Each cabin has private bathroom facilities and has been finished to a standard that makes the onboard experience feel closer to a boutique hotel than a boat.
The 30-guest capacity is one of Symphony's most practical strengths. Croatia's charter regulations allow vessels like Symphony to carry groups well above the 12-passenger limit that applies to most private yachts, making it one of the most capable options available for large family reunions, milestone celebrations, corporate charters, and multi-generational trips where fitting everyone into a single vessel without sacrificing quality is a genuine requirement.
Not all the cabins are the same, there are 7 lower deck double bed cabins, 4 double bed on the main deck, and 4 suits on upper deck. Upper deck suits are considerably bigger in size, 2 have private balconies, and 2 have private terraces.
The yacht's outdoor spaces are where the Adriatic is best enjoyed, and Symphony has been designed with this in mind. In total, Symphony has, lower deck with private pool, bar/restaurant and direct exit to the sea. Main deck with outdoor dinning and access to cinema and entertainement room which gets privatized for massages.
The spacious sun deck provides unrestricted views and plenty of room for sunbathing, cocktails, and evening drinks as the coastline changes around you. There is also a top deck saved for private lounge area for those expecting full privacy. Honestly, even with full occupancy, there is enough room to escape from anyone at any time.
The jacuzzi on the sun deck with sweeping sea views is a feature that requires no further justification on a warm Dalmatian evening. The upper-deck bar is the natural gathering point for cocktails at sunset, positioned to make the most of views that shift from open water to island silhouettes as the light changes.
Symphony carries plenty of water sports and entertainment options for guests who want to be active during the charter.
The Symphony operates on a 7-night charter basis. Here is what comes with the booking.
The Captain's Dinner is worth mentioning separately. It is a dedicated evening curated by the crew, typically anchored somewhere memorable, with food that reflects the local coastline. It tends to be the night guests talk about when they get home.
Two meals a day are included, prepared by onboard chefs who cook fresh Adriatic and Mediterranean food. Expect fresh fish, local olive oil, seasonal vegetables, and Croatian wine. The menu adjusts based on what is available locally at each port.
For guests who want to eat ashore, the crew knows which restaurants are worth the detour. The best konobas on the Dalmatian coast are not always the ones with a website. A local captain who has been sailing these waters for years tends to know exactly where to go.
"Sample all the greatest food in the Adriatic. A true taste of Croatia and the Mediterranean."
The Symphony operates across the Dalmatian coast, with itineraries that move between islands based on the group's interests, the weather, and the time of season. Here are islands that we recommend and that cover the highlights of the Dalmatian coast.
Croatia's most social island. Hvar Town has good restaurants, a 16th-century fortress, and a harbor full of boats in summer. The rest of the island is lavender fields and quiet coves.
Home to Zlatni Rat, the famous horn-shaped beach. Great for biking, olive oil tours, and swimming. Quieter than Hvar and easy to anchor without crowds.
The most remote inhabited island on the Dalmatian coast. No mass tourism, authentic fishing villages, and the Blue Cave nearby on the island of Bisevo.
Said to be Marco Polo's birthplace. A beautifully preserved medieval town, excellent local wine, and a loyal crowd that returns every year.
Two-thirds national park. Two warm saltwater lakes in the middle of a forest. One of the quietest, most beautiful places on the Adriatic.
89 islands and islets making up one of the most dramatic national parks in the Mediterranean. Almost no permanent population, no noise, just coastline and clear water.
Let's answer some of the most asked questions.
The season runs from May through October, with peak demand in July and August. May, June, September, and October offer the best combination of warm water, good weather, and fewer boats in the anchorages. Book at least 8 months ahead as Symphony usually sells out year or more in advance.
The Symphony accommodates up to 30 guests. It works well at any size from 10 upward. Groups that use the full capacity benefit most from the per-person economics, since the charter cost spreads across more people.
Seven nights is the standard with Sunday-Sunday rotations. Most vessels operate on Saturday to Saturday which creates less crowds for Symphony in major ports like Split and Dubrovnik during embarkation and disembarkation.
None. The Symphony comes with a full crew of 12, including a captain, onboard chef, and concierge. Guests do not touch the rigging. They show up, unpack once, and stay unpacked for the week.
Majority of the things are included in the cost of the charter. There is only one obligatory extra which is the docking. Docking runs anywhere between $5800.00 - $11,500.00 depending on the route and choice of ports VS private marinas.
Non obligatory extras include any added experiences on the destination and drinks on board. Drinks can be purchased on board per consumption, or you can opt-in for the all inclusive packages that run from $450-$1350.00 per week per person.
Depending on the charterer's interests, preferences, and vision for their journey, we can fully tailor the itinerary, including destinations, cruising pace, and shore-side experiences.
Our curated experiences range from wine tastings, adventure activities, and historical or cultural tours to Michelin-starred chef cooking classes, onboard events with DJs, and exclusive private experiences. These can include unforgettable moments such as dining atop ancient city walls or enjoying a sunset dinner at a private lighthouse within Kornati National Park.
With access to more than 100 carefully selected local experiences, we are able to accommodate even the most discerning guests and create truly bespoke journeys.
The M/S Symphony books fast. If you have a date in mind, the conversation is worth having sooner rather than later. Availability and pricing are available on request but prices range from $85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per week.
